K-ART-ON – Bob Marley

Bob Marley is without doubt the best known propagator of reggae and the Rasta faith. He is considered one of the most influential musicians of the last century. Bob Marley’s signature silhouette is a global icon.

We cut Bob Marly’s silhouette in cardboard and then peeled off the top layer by hand to reveal his portrait from the corrugated cardboard. The combination of the smooth flat cardboard with the shadowy ridges of the open-work corrugated cardboard provides a sublime contrast effect in a certain light or viewing angle.

Bob Marley’s cardboard artwork is framed in an aluminum frame. Dimensions: 50 x 70 cm.
